Welcome to the class of 2003 Web Page!
This is a place where you can come to check out all of our class activities leading up to our 5th reunion on September 26-28, 2008. Plus, you can learn about and get involved with the Class of 2003 Class Committee. We’ll continue to update this page throughout this reunion year and beyond, so please visit this page on a regular basis to keep up to date with what’s going on with our class!
What’s a Class Committee?
The Saint John’s University Alumni Association was founded in 1882 with an enduring mission: “to strengthen and perpetuate the bond of friendship formed in college days, to advance the welfare – spiritual and temporal – of its members and to further the interests of alma mater.”
The same spirit of this statement carries over to Class Committees today. Class Committee members gather to enjoy the kind of camaraderie that is famously unique to Johnnies. Furthermore, they work to connect other classmates to Saint John’s and to each other. More details about being involved with our Class Committee are at the bottom of this page.

What’s Our Reunion Plan?
As mentioned above, our reunion weekend is September 26-28, 2008. In addition to the many annual Homecoming activities, our class reunion committee is planning special events just for our class. View a schedule of the weekend’s activities.
Since Johnnies tend to be a competitive bunch, our class committee has set some goals for our reunion year. You can look through these goals below.

Hokyeom Kim is an international lawyer and foreign legal consultant at the Pureun Law Firm in Seoul, South Korea. He welcomes contact from alums interested in foreign investment including banking and commercial business opportunities in South Korea, China and Vietnam. Many of us have memories of Saint John’s that we like to share with other Johnnies when we get together. Now, even if we can’t be together in person, we can still share some of our favorite pictures, as well as thoughts about our alma mater and our time together. To do this, please email your picture or story to Thom Woodward at twoodward@csbsju.edu. The Saint John’s staff will post these items, and we’ll soon have a link so we can read what our fellow classmates have to say.
So How Can I Get Involved?
If you’d like to be involved with our class committee, please contact Thom Woodward at twoodward@csbsju.edu or at 320.363.2586. Over the coming year, our class will be working on supporting the Four Cornerstones of the Alumni Association:
- Student Recruitment: Asking classmates to refer potential students to the CSB/SJU Admission Office. (To do this, visit the Online Referral Page).
- Student Preparation: Helping prepare current Johnnies for life after graduation through job placement, internships, and mentoring.
- Alumni Connections: Helping enrich the lives of our 20,000 alumni and engaging them in support of the Saint John’s community, and reconnecting them in the online community or at SJU events.
- Resource Development: Helping address the financial needs of the SJU community by supporting the Annual Fund or Capital Campaign.
We’d love to see you get involved, so please contact Thom Woodward today. The Class Committee is a great way to get reconnected to Saint John’s or to strengthen the connections that you already have.
