U.S. Chapters: International Chapters:
Alumni chapters and affinity groups were established to help maintain what we affectionately refer to as the “Johnnie Network.” Students, alumni and friends of the University are all part of the unique experience that is Saint John’s, producing a love of both school and community. Alumni chapters and affinity groups serve not only to help graduates maintain their relationship with Saint John’s, but also serve the needs of the University. Chapters exist to enrich the lives of alumni and energize them in support of the Saint John’s community.
A chapter provides an opportunity for increased participation in the life of the University, allows for association with other Saint John’s graduates and former students, and represents the University in a specific locality. Each chapter serves to unite alumni and students in an organization which is mutually beneficial to both the individual and the University. The alumni chapter should provide strong support for Saint John’s through such projects as the Student Recruitment Program, Student Preparation Program, Annual Fund and Alumni Awards and Recognition.
An affinity group is made up of alumni who share similar interests. They are not defined by geography, but by career, major or other goals. Like chapters, affinity groups work to support Saint John's through various projects and work to expand the Saint John's community beyond Collegeville.
If you are interested in becoming involved or would like to start a chapter near you, please contact Saint John's Alumni Relations Assistant, Jody Yurczyk, at jyurczyk@csbsju.edu or 320-363-3828.
