National Fly-in Weekend Program

Fly-in Weekends for 2011-2012
February 11-13, 2012*
March 17-19, 2012 March 31 - April 2, 2012
The National Fly-in Weekend programs are designed specifically for accepted students from outside of Minnesota. Not only do we pay up to half of your travel costs though our National Travel Assistance Program, we also arrange a three-day, customized campus experience for you. While we will assist you in visiting us anytime, we encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities to see our campuses and get to know other members of the CSB/SJU Class of 2016 from across the country! You will be receiving an invitation to the National Fly-in Weekends. For more information, contact your admission representative.
Your fly-in weekend experience can be customized to your interests! Here's an example of what your activities could be:
- Tour both campuses
- Spend two nights in our residence halls
- Observe a class
- Learn about our exciting study abroad opportunities
- Eat meals in one of our four dining rooms
- Attend a sporting event or the school musical
- Meet with a coach
- Workout in one of our two athletic complexes, hike to the chapel or go canoeing on our lakes
- Attend a student mass
- Take a private mini music lesson
- Go shopping or to a movie in St. Cloud
* Students must be eligible for our Regents' & Trustees' Scholarship to attend the February 11-13 Fly-in Weekend. Eligible students will have a 30 or higher on the ACT and at least a 3.6 GPA.

My fly-in weekend helped make the decision for me to attend CSB/SJU by allowing me to witness the amazing sense of community we have here on campus. Everyone was so friendly and outgoing! It helped me to see where I would fit on campus, and the different kinds of opportunities I would have as a student.
During my fly-in weekend I saw a production of Macbeth put on by the theater department, participated in a photo scavenger hunt, and played Hide and Go Seek in the woods at CSB. All of these activities provided a chance to meet current students and explore the campus.
I think that without the fly-in weekend I would have been a little less sure of my decision to come here. It looked like a great fit on paper, but being on campus really showed me that I wouldn't be as happy anywhere else. It sealed the deal.
Booking your ticket...
For best flight and cost options, a three-week advance notice is requested. Requests made within three weeks of an event will be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.
