Visit CSB/SJU

Personal Visit

Every student is looking for something special in a school and in their visit to a college campus. A visit to CSB/SJU will include an opportunity to meet with a member of the admission staff and tour the campuses with a current student, but it can be so much more. With some advance notice we can give you special access to what interests you most. Here is a short list of additional activities to add to your visit:

  • Meet with a professor* (seniors only)
  • Attend a class* (seniors only)
  • Visit with a coach or observe a practice
  • Have a mini-lesson with a music faculty member* (seniors only)
  • Eat lunch in one of the four dining areas
  • Meet with a Financial Aid Representative
  • Attend a concert or athletic event on campus

*Available during the months of September, October, November, February, March and April.

By filling out the Online Personal Visit Form you can customize your visit and really see what CSB/SJU have to offer you.

National Travel Assistance Program

The campus visit is the most important part of your college search. The National Travel Assistance Program is designed to give you an opportunity to visit and explore our campuses. Once you have applied and been accepted for admission, contact your admission representative to make arrangements for your visit. With this program, we will:

  • Work with you to arrange a flight or other transportation to the area
  • Pay up to half of your airfare or other transportation costs
  • Provide transportation to and from the airport to our campus
  • Provide lodging for you on campus with a current student
  • Cover the cost of your meals on campus
  • Have you meet with faculty, staff, and/or coaches

National Fly-in Weekend Programs

The 2009-10 National Fly-in Weekend programs are designed specifically for students from farther away. While we will assist you in coming to campus anytime, we encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities to see our campuses and get to know other members of the CSB/SJU Class of 2014! Students will receive an invitation to National Fly-in Weekends. For more information, contact the Admission Office.
