| Minnesota Association of Counselors of Color |
The Minnesota Association of Counselors of Color (MnACC) gives a number of $500 scholarship to Students of Color from Minnesota who plan to attend a MnACC college or university. CSB and SJU are both members. |

| Sallie Mae Fund "Unmet Need Scholarship Program" | Eligible candidates will 1) have a combined family income of $30,000 or less; 2) demonstrate financial need of more than $1,000 without loans; and 3) have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Scholarships of up to $3,800 will be awarded. |
| Gates Millennium Scholarship | A scholarship for American students of color (African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans and Native Americans). |
| US Bank Scholarship |
This scholarship from U.S. Bank offers 25 scholarships valued at $1,000 each. Students must apply on the Web site. |
| The John Gyles Education Scholarship |
Financial assistance is available to full-time students, undergraduate or graduate, in both Canada and the United States. Criteria other than strictly academic ability and financial need are considered in the slection process. Selected students will receive up to $3,000. To receive an application, send a US stamped, self-addressed, business-sized (No.10) envelope (no accompanying letter or explanation is necessary) to the following address: The John Gyles Education Fund, Attention: The Secretary, P.O. Box 4808, 712 Riverside Drive, Fredericton, New Brunswick CANADA E3B 5G4. |
| The Page Education Foundation Scholarship | A scholarship for Minnesota students of color who will be attending college in Minnesota. |
| Northwest Airline Pilots' Wives Club Heart Research Scholarship | Minnesota residents, attending a Minnesota college or university or high school seniors, with an interest in the health science area. Two $1,800 summer research internships will be awarded. |
| Target All-Around Scholarship | U.S. legal residents who are high school students or college students under the age of 24. Strong background in community service is beneficial. 2,100 scholarships awarded, including four awards of $10,000. |
| USA Funds Access to Education Scholarships | Open to high school seniors. Applicants must have an annual adjusted gross family income of $35,000 or less, and be a U.S. citizen, or permanent resident aliens with a Green Card, or refugees with a Departure Record — Form I-94 (includes applicants from Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and all of the U.S. Territories and Commonwealths). Renewable scholarships of $1,500 to full-time students and $750 to part-time students |
