Financial Aid Awards for I-LEAD Fellows
How much financial aid can I-LEAD Scholars receive?
The I-LEAD Fellowship is an award of $9,000 per year. It is a 4-year renewable award.
I-Lead Scholars may also be awarded scholarships and grants from CSB/SJU based on academic achievement, leadership, service and financial need.
I-LEAD Scholars are required to apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA and the CSB/SJU Financial Aid Application. By completing both of these documents students may be considered for additional aid from the Minnesota Grant, the Federal Pell Grant, student employment and student loan programs depending on their financial need.

Students are encouraged to apply for scholarships through their local high school and community organizations. These scholarships can be used to help pay for books, spending money and can reduce or even eliminate loans! For example, if Mai, Lee or Rose receives a $1,000 scholarship from a foundation, this would cover expenses for books and provide $200 for spending money.
*The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form that students complete to apply for financial aid. The FAFSA must be completed for all colleges from which you wish to receive an award letter.
