College Activities: As a transfer student (and from AK), one of the first things I got involved in at CSB/SJU was Collegebound, an Outdoor Orientation Program that took place in the BWCA. What an amazing introduction to my new “home” at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. Needless to say, after that experience, I became a Peer Resource Program facilitator and led several outdoor adventures in Big Bend National Park (Texas), Canyonlands National Park (Utah), Boundary Waters Canoe Area, and even a Sky-Diving trip in Wisconsin.

I was also an RA (Resident Assistant) my junior year and met so many terrific Johnnies I may not have otherwise met. In my senior year, I chose to study abroad in China – definitely one of the best decisions of my life! During my time at CSB/SJU, I also participated in the Education Club, Karate, a Theater work-study, and a wide variety of other campus & community activities, events, and experiences.

After some wonderful world travels and incredible career endeavors in Alaska and Hawaii, I’m excited to be back “home” to introduce the amazing communities of CSB/SJU and the countless opportunities they offer to interested students and families!

Fun Facts about Ethan: I’ve gone fly-fishing under the Midnight Sun; hiked through the crater of a dormant volcano; and let go of a perfectly good airplane from 3000 ft. above the earth.

Some of Ethan's Favorite Things: My amazing family, the great outdoors, classical music (especially the cello), poetry, fly-fishing, the ocean, traveling and photography.
