College Activities: Member and two-year captain of the Blazer Softball team. Staff writer and sports editor for The Record. Intramural volleyball and basketball. Student manager at McGlynn's. Studied abroad in China.

Fun Facts:  I grew up in a family restaurant which meant I was never without a job! My parents continue to own and operate a small restaurant and catering business in my hometown of Lidderdale, Iowa. Yes, it is on the map! I enjoy participating in road races and completed my second marathon last summer. I love sports, cooking (not baking!), movies and traveling. I am also the assistant softball coach at CSB.

Summer 2008 was a very busy and exciting time for me. I got a new dog, a 2-year-old greyhound named Audrey. I also got engaged and am planning a wedding for next summer!
