In addition to the information listed CSB/SJU evaluate home school applicants using both traditional and nontraditional indicators. The traditional indicators include appropriate documentation of a college preparatory curriculum (usually in the form of a transcript) and college entrance exams (either the ACT or SAT I). We also consider, but do not require, nontraditional indicators. These may include GED scores, study of a second language, accelerated courses, correspondence coursework, post-secondary enrollment option courses, SAT II tests, community service, participation in religious or community organizations, athletic participation, and life experiences such as work, travel, public speaking, published writing or art shows.
Home school applicants are encouraged to contact the Admission Office and begin working on an individual basis with our home school coordinator, Katie McCarney.
