Due to a very favorable response to our first two events, we are again hosting a tent for all Accounting and Finance Department alumni after this fall's homecoming football game on October 3, 2009.  The Johnnies will play against Bethel.  Immediately after the game (or mid way through the fourth quarter if the outcome of the game is not in question), the faculty of the Accounting and Finance Department will be hosting a tent for department alumni.  The tent will be open for a few hours and will be located on the tundra outside of Sexton Commons, by the other homecoming tents.

 

Join your former professors and classmates for some great conversation - and a few beverages and snacks!

 

Some highlights from our 2008 event:

Due to a very favorable response to 2007's event, we hosted a tent for all Accounting and Finance Department alumni after this fall's homecoming football game on September 27, 2008.  The Johnnies helped make the day perfect by defeating Gustavus Adolphus. 

We had tremendous attendance, once again. Here are a few pictures.

 

A few highlights from our First Annual Alumni Gathering!

 

 

On October 6th, 2007, after the SJU-St. Olaf football game (which the Johnnies pulled out of the hat in the 4th quarter), we hosted the first ever departmental alumni event in CSB/SJU history, inviting our over 1800 alums from CSB and SJU to this event.

We were thrilled with the attendance and heard rave reviews from the participants. Many people particularly enjoyed the opportunity to see former classmates from folks either a year ahead of them or behind them (the people you never get to see at your 5, 10, etc. reunions.) Alums also liked the opportunity to see their former professors. We've posted a few pictures below.
