The student advising assistants maintain formal and informal contact with their advising peers. Feel free to ask questions; if they do not know the answer, they can certainly find someone who does.
Each semester, academic advising sponsors several opportunities for multicultural students to gather as a group and discuss/learn about study abroad, second-semester registration, applying for scholarships, etc. There is strength in community and we hope each student will find several communities within the CSB/SJU realm that they can call home.
Advising assistants produce an electronic newsletter two or three times each semester called the Multi-Dimensional Source.
For more information about programs please refer to the Calendar of Events or contact us.
The multicultural advising team works in partnership with Multicultural Student Programs to serve students in academics as well as the social aspects of college life. We also work with international student academic advising and International Student Organizations to further enrich opportunities and build connections. For additional opportunities to be involved see clubs & organizations.
