Major in Peace Studies (48-52)

A group of six core courses must be taken initially, followed by a concentration in one of three different areas to complete the Peace Studies major.

Basic Requirements (20-24 credits):

Humanities Concentration (28 additional credits)

Natural Science Concentration (34-56 additional credits)

The Peace Studies major with a Natural Science concentration will require the following:

____ A major or minor in one of the following science areas: Biology, Nutrition, Chemistry, Computer Science, Math, or Physics (please refer to individual areas)

Social Science Concentration (28 additional credits)

____ Completed Basic Requirements
Seven courses from the Social Sciences  according to a plan developed by the student and faculty advisor. At least five courses must be upper division.
