Knowing without an ounce of skepticism, that I would graduate a psychology major when I arrived at St. Bens, I surprised myself in discovering an alternate combination that allows me to pursue my passions. Currently as a junior, I am an English and Pre-Medicine major. For someone looking to go into medicine as a profession, English has always been a way for me to express why, rather than just how.
This is my second year at the Writing Center and I absolutely love it! It has been amazing experiencing the different writing styles of each individual writer here and seeing the connections one finds - finding how you, as a writer, teach me to think about things in a whole new way.
When I'm not travelling or at school, I am contentedly relaxing at home in Nassau, Bahamas. While I do enjoy spending time with my family and friends or going to the beach, I also avidly love reading (my favorite series is Harry Potter, but my favorite novels are The Book Thief and Pride and Prejudice), listening to music, and inviting friends over for Xbox sessions. My academic interests include World War II, the Holocaust, Post-Colonialism, Philosophy, and Cultural Politics.
