Hear Dr. Susan Wood, SCL, give her insight into the vision and legacy of the Second Vatican Council.
Susan K. Wood, SCL, a Sister of Charity of Leavenworth, Kansas is a professor and chair of the Department of Theology at Marquette University, where she also received her doctorate in systematic theology. She serves on multiple bilateral dialogue groups on both the national and international levels, including the Faith and Order of the World Council of Churches and the Joint Working Group. Dr. Wood is a board member of the Center for Catholic and Evangelical Theology. Her publications include In the Name of the Church Vocation and Authorization of Lay Ecclesial Ministry (Liturgical Press 2012), Spiritual Exegesis and the Church in the Theology of Henri de Libuac (Eerdmans, 1998; Wipf & Stock, 2010), Sacramental Orders (Liturgical Press, 2000), and One Baptism: Ecumenical Dimensions of the Doctrine of Baptism (Liturgical Press, 2009). She is the editor of Ordering the Baptismal Priesthood (Liturgical Press, 2003).
