Scholarship Policies

Tuition Scholarships for Full-Time Student

Scholarships are applicable only to consecutive academic terms of full time study (9-12 credits per term) and are automatically renewed for students who continue to meet the criteria. Audited credits can count toward full time status providing at least one course is for credit.
Students who receive a graduate assistantship receive the same scholarship; the work awards and living stipends vary.
Scholarships for full time students who drop to part time study are reduced by approximately 35%; ie, an 80% full time scholarship becomes 45% for part time study.
Scholarships for summer sessions, ranging from 30% to 40% of the tuition, are available to full time, degree seeking students registered for 6-7 credits .
Scholarships are not applicable to overload credits. The credit maximums are 12 credits for an academic term and 7 credits for a summer session.
Students who wish to defer enrollment or who discontinue enrollment must compete with a new pool of applicants for scholarships available at the time of registration.
Scholarship recipients must demonstrate satisfactory progress towards completion of the requirements for the approved degree program.

Tuition Scholarships for Part-Time Students

Scholarships, ranging from 20% to 50% of the tuition, may be awarded to part time, degree seeking students registered for fewer than 9 credits in an academic term.
Scholarships for part time students are automatically renewed for students who enroll in consecutive academic terms and who continue to meet the criteria.
Students who wish to defer enrollment or who discontinue enrollment must compete with a new pool of applicants for scholarships available at the time of registration.
Scholarship recipients must demonstrate satisfactory progress towards completion of the requirements for the approved degree program.
