Green Room Certification
As apart of the Kill-A-Watt Energy Competition, the Saint John's Office of Sustianability decided to help students become more aware on how they could reduce their energy consumption by "Green Room Certifying" student's residence upon their request. The purpose of the certification is to provide students with a better understanding of their energy consumption habits and how they can reduce them.
Level 1
The first level of the certification is simply filling out the Green Room Certification Survey and signing the Saint John's Energy Conservation Pledge. By completing these two basic tasks your room will get a certificate indicating you are level 1 Green Room Certified.
Level 2
To increase your buildings chances at winning the Kill-A-Watt Energy Competition, you can upgrade your certification by having an Energy Audit done at your residence by a Saint John's Office of Sustainability Intern or volunteer.

Another option to increase your buildings chances at winning the Kill-A-Watt Energy Competition, you can upgrade your certification by completing a Shower Time Audit and participating in a approved Sustainability Event as listed below (list with update as new events become available).

Level 3
You must complete level 1 and both options of level 2 to obtain level 3 certification.
Upon completing the certification of each level, your room will receive a certificate that you can post on your door to show that you are certified.
