Fall 2012 Semester
August 26
- New Student Move-in, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Returning Student Move-in, after 1 p.m.
September 1 - Off-campus Housing Request forms available
October 15 - Off-campus Housing Request forms due
Thanksgiving Recess: Tuesday, November 20 at 8 p.m. to Sunday, November 25 at 9 a.m.
December 1 - Signed off-campus acceptance letters due
Winter Break: Wednesday, December 19 at 8 p.m. to Sunday, January 13 at 9 a.m.
Spring 2013 Semester
January 13 - Residences halls open at 9 a.m.
- Move-in for new students and students returning from study abroad begins at 9 a.m.
January 17 - RA Information Session , 9:00-9:30 pm
January 21 - RA applications due
January 28 - RA application essays due (3)
February 1-8 - RA interviews with FRs/RAs
February 8-15 - RA interviews with Director
February 15: Meeting with all FRs to decide Returning RA Placement, 3:00-6:00 pm
February 20: Meeting with all FRs to decide New RA Placement, 3:00-6:00 pm
February 26 - Notifications of RA positions sent
March 1 - Room Selection Registration Form must be completed and submitted
March 5 - Approved RA candidates return acceptance letters to Housing Office
March 13 - SJU Room Selection 2013: 6-person Apartments, Quad 264, 4 p.m.
March 19 - SJU Room Selection 2013: 4-person Apartments, Quad 264, 4 p.m.
Spring Break: Friday, March 22 at 8 p.m. to Monday, April 1 at 9 a.m.
April 2 - SJU Room Selection 2013: General Selection, Quad 264, 4 p.m. – Returning and Rising Seniors; Rising Juniors
April 4 - SJU Room Selection 2013: General Selection, Quad 264, 4 p.m. - Rising Sophomores
End of Year closing: Friday, May 10 at 8 p.m.
