Men's Chicago Service Retreat

During Fall Break we will be at St. James Parish and food pantry and it is a Benedictine Service Site. The service trip will also include fellowship, prayer, reflection, and discussion about what it means to serve.

FYRE

 

 FYRE (First Year Retreat Experience) is an annual retreat designed specifically for first-year students, focusing on spirituality and community-building. Students spend the weekend off campus to reflect, discuss their personal faith, and participate in a series of talks and activities.

Victus Denuo - The Living Anew Retreat

Victus Denuo strives to re-engage us in our faith by deepening our understanding of Catholicism through discussion, prayer, the Sacraments, and community-building. Throughout the weekend, we took a thorough look into our own faith, digging deep to grow and learn with one another. 


Couple's Retreat

Looking to deepen the relationship with your special someone and connect on a whole new level? Join us for our annual Couples Retreat! We will be exploring topics such as: sexuality, working with the differences in your relationship, and what it means to be a Christian couple in College today. The retreat will include time to relax and have fun, pray,and engage in deep conversations with your significant other.


Holden Sustainability Retreat

During the retreat we learned about Holden's sustainability efforts and lend a hand at keeping up these practices. We will have the opportunity to do reflection in one of the most pristine and untouched pieces of land that our country has to offer.


 

Men's Chicago Service Retreat

Advent Busy Person's Retreat

The Busy Student Retreat is where you take a few minutes out of your day for prayer and reflection. You would also meet with a Spiritual Companion and talk about your reflections on what the readings for the day and what they mean to you. This is an opportunity to take a few minutes out of your busy schedule and find God in a few minutes.


Camping Retreat

 Come join us as we head out to the great outdoors. The group will spend the weekend hiking, cooking, and reflecting on their relationship with God, creation, and humanity. The retreat will focus on masculine and feminine spirituality and nature as a spiritual practice. Space is VERY limited, so sign up today!

Men Seeking God: 2011 Men's Retreat

It doesn't matter where you are in your journey of faith, we will unite for a weekend of fellowship, prayer, and worship as men seeking God.


 

 

Couple's Retreat

CSB/SJU couples spent a weekend exploring and deepening their relationships. We learned about what it means to be in a committed, loving relationship with another human being and how that relationship can mirror the triune God.

Men's Chicago Service Retreat

During winter break, a group of Johnnies traveled to the Windy City to serve communities in need. The group volunteered at Saint James Parish in Chicago, IL, which is a site for the Saint John's Benedictine Volunteer Corps (SJBVC). The service trip also included fellowship, prayer, reflection, and discussion about what it means to serve.

A group of Johnnies spent Fall Break camping on the North Shore of Lake Superior. The group spent the weekend hiking, cooking, and reflecting on their relationship with God, creation, and humanity.
