Kyle Auringer
Position in the office- SALD Student ManagerWhat Kyle is doing now-a-days- I am currently writing a response to a questionnaire for a website page about me and other alumni of SALD-O-JEC. :) Plus, I am enjoying electricity for the first time in my room in 3 days! As for other things, I am teaching at two secondary schools in a rural village in sub-Sahara Africa for one year through an organization called the Benedictine Volunteer Corps. Afterwards, I will be looking to start a laboratory technician job in the states, but I am open to any new experience that comes my way.
What it means for Kyle to have worked in SALD-O-JEC- SALDO-JEC provided me with a wonderful experience in which I had immense responsibilities leading an outstanding team of student workers while following the guidance of spectacular supervisors. My supervisors, team members, and responsibilities not only allowed me the opportunity to continue developing my life skills such as communication and interpersonal skills, but they also challenged me to dig deep into my personal development and search for who I am and what I am about. With that said, I really feel like I have been able to delve deeper into the wonders of Africa and extract the incredible things it has to offer by utilizing the skills and values I practiced at SALDO-JEC.
