Position in the office- Student Manager/ Programing
What Courteny is doing now-a-days- I live in Saint Louis Park (with my college roommate!) and work as an Assistant Account Manager for Karwoski & Courage Public Relations in downtown Minneapolis. My primary responsibilities are to help a variety of MN based companies with their advertising and media relations efforts. In providing that support, I stay busy with a lot of writing, project management, event planning and creative design. Outside of work I stay busy planning my wedding next September, exploring the Twin Cities and staying in touch with my Bennies and Johnnies!
What it means for Courtney to have worked in SALD-O-JEC- SALD was a great place to learn the ins and outs of an organization. It taught me how to be a leader, how to be innovative and how to think on a higher more strategic level. SALD also played a major part in my professional development by giving me experiences and opportunities I wouldn't have had otherwise such as working with CSB/SJU administrators, attending leadership events, and planning an organizations yearly goals. Working at SALD was also a great way to meet new people that I may not have otherwise. I was able to interact with different groups on campus, get to know Bennies and Johnnies who were in a different class year than I was, and find a few key mentors who have greatly impacted my life. SALD is a great place to work, develop and begin to frame your professional outlook! I highly recommend it!
