Faculty instructions

Instructions for entering grades:

  • Go to Banner Web Self Service 
  • Log in with your Banner ID number (9000xxxxx) and your PIN number (PIN numbers are case sensitive). 
  • Once successfully logged in, choose Faculty Services
  • Select Final Grade Rosters
  • Select appropriate term
  • If your course does not appear in the list, you are not listed as the instructor in the system.  Please contact the Registrar's Office for assistance.
  • After entering your grades for a class, to view confirmed grades, scroll to the bottom of the grading page and select Summary Class List from the links along the bottom.  If you are submitting an incomplete for a student, there will be a second screen that comes up titled "Incomplete Final Grades" that indicates the default extension date.  You will need to select "SUBMIT" for the incomplete to be recorded

Freshmen cannot receive "S" or "U" unless the course is only offered for S/U grading
U
I/GRADE (example:   enter as "IB" with no slash mark on Banner Web Self Service).   This is considered a minimum achievement and CANNOT be lowered later.
W (grade of "W" cannot be entered on Banner Web Self Service - contact the Registrar's Office
