Academic Opportunities
Both through the department and with the collaboration of fellow students and faculty, a number of academic opportunities are available to explore. In the past, students have refined pieces of academic work from their past or current courses to present either at national undergraduate research conventions and conferences, such as the Notre Dame Student Peace Conference, or on campus at Celebrating Scholarship Day. Additionally, some have collaborated through various peace and justice-oriented clubs on campus, such as the chapter of Amnesty International or the Student Coalition for Global Solidarity to run informational programming from speakers and teach-ins to movies and demonstrations. Below you will find links to examples of such activities to give you examples of their work. Contact your professors or the appropriate student clubs to get involved with these types of activities yourself.
