Steps to a successful Study Abroad Application
When preparing for your application and interview, please use this checklist:
I have attended a Study 101 & 201 and I went to the Study Abroad Fair to learn more about the study abroad programs and prepare for my study abroad application.
My personal statement/essay reflects my talents and interests.
In addition to my GPA, I have included in my application and on my resume other activities, clubs, teams, student government in which I have participated.
I have spoken with all of my references and confirmed that they will complete the required recommendation forms. I have requested that my references receive the link to the recommendation via the on-line request form.
I have had someone look over my personal statement/essays.
I went to Career Services to have my resume reviewed and critiqued.
I have completed the online application and paid the $300 application fee online before the January 22nd deadline at NOON.
I have submitted the Signature/Waiver Form (Applicant & Parent signature required) and 2 passport-sized photos to the Office for Education Abroad, located in the lower level of the ASB building, before the January 22nd deadline at NOON.
I went to Career Services to prepare for my interview with the faculty director.
