An interfaith retreat for students sponsored by the Jay Phillips Center for Interfaith Learning in collaboration with the campus ministry offices at the College of Saint Benedict, Saint John's University and the University of St. Thomas will be held Nov. 12-13 at the Episcopal House of Prayer on Fruit Farm Rd. in Collegeville. It is open to all undergraduate students from the three schools.

The retreat, which will run from 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, to noon Sunday, Nov. 13, will focus on spiritual dynamics that operate across different faith traditions. It will foster interfaith learning and experiences of prayer and contemplation from several different religions and will allow for sharing the fruits of those experiences.

The retreat will be facilitated by Susan Stabile, a professor of law at St. Thomas and a spiritual director who often leads retreats and other programs of spiritual formation. She recently finished writing a book that adapts Tibetan Buddhist meditations for Christians.

The cost of $39 to each participant includes all meals and a shared bedroom. For more information and to sign up for the retreat, e-mail Hans Gustafson, assistant director of the Jay Phillips Center.
