CSB and SJU to celebrate season at Basilica concert

The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University will present "Celebrating the Season" holiday concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at the Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis.

Performing groups include the Amadeus Chamber Symphony, directed by Axel Theimer; CSB/SJU Brass Choir, directed by Dale White; CSB Women's Choir, directed by Jody Martinson; CSB/SJU Chamber Choir, directed by Theimer; St. John's Boys' Choir, directed by André Heywood; and SJU Men's Chorus, directed by Theimer.

This year's program features music by W.A. Mozart, Felix Mendelssohn, Jacobus Gallus, George F. Handel, Morten Lauridsen, Jackson Berkley, Vaclav Nelhybel, John Rutter and others.

Advance tickets to "Celebrating the Season" will be available at the locations below until noon on Saturday, Dec. 4, and at the door beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4. Prices are $16 for adults and $11 for seniors (60 and over) and children 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased at:
