Samantha Hurrle, '15, Harp:
Biochemistry/Pre-Medicine major,
Music and Spanish minors
"Orchestra is a big enjoyment for me because of the group dynamic. There are the eccentrics and the quiet people, and it adds to the color of the orchestra's sound."
Jordan Berns, '14, Viola:
Liturgical Music and Theology Majors
"The best part about CSB/SJU orchestra is definitely the wide variety of friends I have made. But friendship aside, I also view orchestra as a place to develop a greater musical understanding, for self-improvement, to learn leadership and teamwork, explore different cultures, and to take a break from the stress of homework. It is the quintessence of a liberal arts education!"
