Chamber Choir
The CSB/SJU Chamber Choir is the select mixed-voice touring ensemble at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University. The Chamber Choir is directed by Dr. Axel Theimer, DMA.

Since its founding in 1970, the Chamber Choir has been one of the major touring ensembles at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University. During Spring Break 2010 the choir performed concerts in Minnesota, Iowa, Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas.
Traditionally the program covers a wide variety of sacred and secular music, ranging from Gregorian Chant and 17th century polyphony to masterworks of the 20th century. The 2010 program featured music by Britten, Whitacre, Rachmaninoff, Sweelinck, Hogan, Casals, Grotenhuis, Fissinger and others.
