Matt Doyle
Hi, I'm Matt Doyle! Here's a picture of me in the outdoors looking adventurous and cool. Keep reading to find out stuff that I like and to read an excerpt from a book that I like. You can google it if it intrigues you.
I like Victorian, Russian, French, Early American, German, and fantasy/sci-fi literature. I'm an English major with a minor in secondary education. I may teach your kid's English classes in the future. I also like the outdoors, rock-climbing, music (listening to), philosophy, cool movies, and bad movies. I enjoy writing for fun as well as for class, (whether I am any good at the former is another issue). If you work with me as your tutor I can pretty much guarantee that it will be the most awesomest experience of your life. I also like Phil Collins.
Come work with me, or someone else if you want. I don't judge. Peace.
Here's a clip from a book that I like, google it if it intrigues you, (Spoilers, it's American Psycho by Brett Easton Ellis and it's also a movie starring Christian Bale. Don't take your kids to see it).
I live in the American Garden Buildings on West Eighty-First Street on the eleventh floor. I am twenty-seven years old. I believe in taking care of myself, in a balanced diet, in a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the icepack, I use a deep pore-cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water-activated gel cleanser, then a honey-almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb mint facial masque which I leave on for ten minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after-shave lotion with little or no alcohol because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm, followed by a final moisturizing "protective" lotion.
There is an idea of me, some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me, only an entity, something illusory, and though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping you, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I am simply not there.
