Writers Writing
Through Writers Writing, the campus community and general public engage with influential authors of our time.
Poets, memoirists, fiction writers, and essayists share the passion and pitfalls of the creative process through public readings, master classes, panel discussions, and conferences. Their work is also integrated into the curriculum.
The Literary Arts Institute of the College of Saint Benedict is proud to have hosted noted writers, including those recognized as Pulitzer Prize winners and U.S. Poet Laureates Robert Pinsky, Gwendolyn Brooks, Donald Hall, Billy Collins, Charles Simic and W.S. Merwin among many others.
