Staff Mini-Grant Ideas

Are you interested in examining the relevance of vocational themes in your work place? Here are some ideas that may qualify for our Mini-Grant program.

• Participate in a conference on a topic related to vocation and report back to the CSB/SJU community
• Identify readings/books that can be used to cultivate vocational understanding with student employees and/or to incorporate discussion of vocational themes into staff meetings
• Develop a co-curricular workshop on some dimensions of vocation
• Team with others in developing and offering a workshop on vocation
• Develop and incorporate a module on vocation or a service-learning component for an existing course that pertains to vocation
• Write an article exploring one or more dimensions of vocation
• Compile an annotated bibliography on writings related to vocation
• Organize a film festival exploring various instances of vocation
• Attend a short course on vocation
