Jordan Berns

Hello! As you might have guessed from clicking on my name, I'm Jordan. Here at St. John's University I am studying Liturgical Music and Theology. Yes, that's quite an interesting combination for a Writing Tutor. But my majors don't hinder my ambitions to see a paper develop to its full potential. It is quite fulfilling to see a paper transition through the various states between "written" and "ready-to-hand-in."

Outside the Writing Center, you can probably see me lugging around my viola or a pair of organ shoes. Music is also and integral part of my life. I participate in the CSB|SJU orchestra, and I enjoy practicing in my spare time. I am also one of the students wo really enjoys music theory. However, I can't actually help you with your musical compositions in the writing center; CSB|SJU has very friendly music tutors who specialize in that!

When I finally emerge from the practice room, I am typically found doing homework. If I get around to them, I have a few hobbies I like to do on the side. I like knitting socks and mittens, and I also enjoy reading a nice novel or theological writing when I get the chance. When I have time for a social life, I like to play board games with my amazing friends.
