Joey Kinnan

Hello! My name is Joey Kinnan and I am a "sophomore" at St. John's. I put "sophomore" in quotes, not for any other reason than I consider the definition pretty awesome. The actual word comes from the adjective sophomoric which was defined by my high school English teacher to mean "wise-fool." I believe this is an appropriate term to describe me at this point in my life (although I hope I am much more "wise" than "fool").
A little about myself... I am currently a biology major and in the beginning stages of hopefully becoming a doctor. On a Saturday afternoon in the fall you can find me on the Football Field playing for the Johnnies. I have been blessed with amazing family and friends and I love spending time with them. I also love the summer and especially being out on the lake or at the cabin.
I love helping writers at any stage of the writing process, whether that is brainstorming, prewriting, organization, final proofreading, finding a thesis, or whatever. My favorite part about tutoring other students in the Writing Center is helping them to really love their paper. So please stop by and get some help. After all, writing is simply putting a bunch of words together in a way that sounds good and I can help you do that! Look forward to seeing you soon!!!
