Committees
Co-Chairs
This position is made up of one CSB student and one SJU student who have had previous experience as a JEC Executive Chair. Some Duties Include: To ensure meetings are planned and effectively run and to organize training and development of the council. To encourage co-sponsorship of events with other on-campus organizations. To represent the council to administration and to act as student delegates to maintain communication between the JEC and the CSB/SJU community.
Assessment Chair
This position collects and analyzes data from event scanners and evaluations. Some Duties Include: To manage JEC Website, oversee the updating of the JEC Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Public Relations/Marketing Committee:
This committee is responsible for helping promote the events of all committees. They should contiunally create new and innovative ways of advertising to reach the CSB/SJU community to increase attendance and involvement in JEC Events. Duties Include but not limited to: Events promos (i.e. fanny packs for 90's dance; JEC Popcorn bags, etc.), Event E-mails, Novelty Promotions (i.e. dressing up in 80's outfits and going around campus to promote 80's dance), etc.
Concerts Committee:
This committee is responsible in organizing the JEC sponsored music festivals, small-scale musical performances, student talent, and negotiate contracts for musical performances on the campuses of CSB/SJU.

Special Events Committee
This committee is responsible for organizing a variety of creative events, that don't always fit into the other committee categories. They focus on late night programming. Special Events is expected to create events that fit the different and wide variety of interests of the CSB/SJU students.

Expressive Arts Committee
This committee is responsible for organizing programs such as speakers, entertainers, and off campus events that provide unique experiences for the students of CSB/SJU. These events should allow for students to experience old and new local culture through the arts. They typically seek partnerships with Fine Arts and Alumnae Relations.

Creative Resource Committee
This committee is responible for organizing events that best utilize the resources of both our campuses. They are expected to work with other organizations and clubs for co-sponsorship for funds. They are required to be innovative and creative in order to put on big events with a lower budget.

To organize events that encourage friendly competition. To provide a variety of different contests throughout the year in order to fit a wide range of student interest (i.e. physical, mental). To be responsible for the Contests and Competition Committee.

Traditions Committee
This committee helps with the coordination of Family Weekend activities, Little Sibling Weekend activities, and traditional institutional events. This committe is responsible for creating new traditions and improving on the old.

Cultural Committee
This commtitee is responsible for organizing events that increase cultural awareness to the CSB/SJU community. They are expected to work with other Chairs to implement cultural awareness into other events. They are encouraged to reach out to the Intercultural Center, International Student Programs, and CAB.
