New International Students - Fall 2013

 Welcome to the College of Saint Benedict & Saint Johns University

Congratulations on your admission to the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University! We are excited for you to become part of our community. This past fall, more than 70 new students from almost every continent joined CSB/SJU.  This class represents 19 different countries. We are proud of our diverse student body and know you will be an outstanding addition to our campus.

The International Students Program Office will help you adjust to life and school in the United States. All new International Students are expected to arrive on Tuesday, August 20th, 2013.  Please go to Enrolled Student Portal to complete all of the necessary forms including the Arrival Form.  This will allows us to know when you will arrive to campus sowe can be there to greet you and take you to your room.

Please make your travel arrangements so that you can arrive in time to attend our International Student Orientation, which will begin on Wednesday, August 21st, 2013.  It is in this orientation that you will meet the International Orientation Mentors who will help you with your transition to the United States and to CSB/SJU. During our orientation, you will also meet people from different offices that will explain and answer any questions you likely have. In addition, you will meet with your Academic Advisor who will go through your class schedule with you.

First year students from the United States will begin moving into their rooms on Thursday, August 22nd, 2013. We encourage all new students to go to the fall orientation sessions that are held on Thursday, August 22nd - Sunday August 25th.The first day of classes for fall semester begin on Monday, August 26th, 2013. 

We extend to you our best wishes for a pleasant trip to Minnesota and trust you will find your stay at CSB/SJU to be both challenging and rewarding. We look forward to meeting you during orientation!
