More Than Lights is Zach Combs, Unicus, Natalie Fine, Reuben Rodriguez, Matiu Unga, Corey Hess, and Joshua Jellyfish. Together, they make all sorts of fresh music. It brings together hippies, hip hop heads, hipsters, hamsters, and everyone else under the sun.

The Electric Prescription For All Your Funky Illz, the band's first album, was released in November 2009. Their songs "Everywhere We Go"... and "Be With You" became infectious fan favorites across the Midwest along with the title track, "The Electric Prescription...". The album continues to receive national radio play and television placements on networks such as MTV.

After spending most of 2010 touring and recording, More Than Lights completed their sophomore effort; their EP, Fun's On Our Team, in January 2011. The release party at The Fine Line in Minneapolis was to a sold-out crowd. The new EP displays the high-energy and unique style the band brings to all of their live shows. It's blend of Dance, Funk, and Soul draws from their widely acclaimed 2009 debut. The songs reflect the inclusive familial attitude they've become known for.

Succeeding in forming their own niche by creating music as diverse as their seven member line-up, More Than Lights has consistently performed their contagious signature high-energy show provoking crowds all across the country.  (Taken from their facebook biography)

"Local hip-hop collective More Than Lights are doing things differently from the crews that came before them in the Twin Cities. They're leaving the egos out of the music and bringing back instrumentation and melody in a way that's uplifting yet smart. And Minneapolis and St. Paul aren't the only cities to notice: MTV has featured the band's music on several episodes of The Real World."

"...and you should hear just how much fun rappers Zach Combs and Unicus Harry are having in More Than Lights, their seven-member, stop-on-a-dime, time-changing live band. The group is back with a seven-song EP entitled, "Fun's on Our Team". Featuring everything from the jamrock reggaeton jam "Audio Chameleon", to the hilarious slap-funk anthem of "Positive Waves", to even an acoustic guitar solo piece. As great as it is diverse!"
- Chris Riemenschneider, Star Tribune

"...all their hard work has spawned a seminal blend of Blues and Jazz, Latin beats and Big Band, Hip-Hop and New-School hotness. It's a constantly shifting spotlight that one can't help but appreciate."
