Spain is a magical country, a land of contrast, rich in culture, traditions, and history. Valladolid, former capital of Spain, land of Cervantes and Zorrilla, is a modern city, yet it retains strokes of splendor which remind one of XVI century Spain. I have always been fascinated by Spain and its diverse people. My greatest joy and interest in taking students to Spain is to show them that there is a world to be discovered, a world that is found beyond the walls of the USA. It is highly rewarding to see students open up to new ideas and to new ways of doing things. Whether this experience reaffirms or changes their beliefs is irrelevant. What is important to me is that they question them. I have lead groups to Chile and Spain several times. This summer program in Valladolid is my favorite. Come and join us!
