Acoustic Africa

An exhilarating evening of Afro-Pop!
The Acoustic Africa tour features three powerhouse performers from the African continent.
Dobet Gnahore, the Ivory Coast vocalist and dancer, is known as one of the most vibrant performers in world music today. Bassist and vocalist Manuo Gallo, also from the Ivory Coast, gained acclaim as the bassist for Zap Mama, whose own music draws on rhythms of West Africa as well as funk and R&B. Finally, Kareyce Fotso, a young Cameroonian singer, performs an intriguing combination of Afro-Pop, blues, and traditional African music.
