ESSS 258 Anatomy & Physiology for Sports Medicine (2 credits)

Primarily a lecture course covering basic human anatomy and physiology with emphasis placed on the muscular, skeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, and nervous systems. This course is designed to emphasize selected concepts necessary to study athletic performance and athletic injuries. This course meets the anatomy and physiology prerequisites for ESSS 273, 306, 307, and 308.
