Environmental Studies Learning Community

The Environmental Studies Learning Community is a unique college course: participants often spend as much time camping, planting trees, or volunteering on a local environmental project as they do in the classroom.  Offered each fall, it gives new ES majors and minors a place to discuss current environmental issues while getting to know each other and their professors through collaborative field work and volunteer projects.  Read more

  • Two program graduates were selected as Morris K. Udall scholars in national competition among students demonstrating outstanding potential and a commitment to pursuing careers related to the environment.
