Summer Research Fellowships
Summer Research Fellowships are employment opportunities that support students engaged in research or creative work for 10 weeks during the summer. During the summer of 2012, 51 students from 13 departments were involved in this opportunity.
Work alongside a faculty member on research in your field. Summer Research Fellows earn approximately $9.25/hr plus a Room and Board supplement for 10 wks. This is a great way to apply your classroom knowledge to real world questions of importance. You may imagine that St. Joe closes down in the summer...not true! At CSBSJU, throughout the summer, recreational opportunities abound and the intellectual stimulation is unbeatable.
Fellowships are available through departments as listed below, via grant programs offered by various CSB/SJU programs, and – for Honors Thesis students – the Honors Thesis Summer Research Fellowships. Any student with the approval of their major department may complete an Honors Thesis, it is not necessary to be enrolled in the Honors Program.
