Connor Grill

Connor GrillWriting is speaking where you get to take back the things you don't mean. It's talking with a delete button, a spell-check, a thesaurus. It's a chance to say all those things about something you wish you could've said, exactly the way you wanted to say it. It's a chance to be heard. Yet more so than that, writing is a process, an effort, a labor (of love, if you will). It is not always easy. But it can be fun. It can make sense.

Double-majoring in English and History-those oh-so wordy subjects where the only thing students do is read and write papers-has, if anything, taught me that a person's writing does improve. I've seen it; I've experienced it. All I want is the chance for you to see it and experience it too. Because I truly believe that writing is worth it. So if you ever believe your writing is, or could be, worth it too, please feel free to visit me at either Writing Center. I'm a senior, I'm active on campus in varsity sports and other extracurricular activities, and I read everything from books and poetry, to scriptures and beyond. Most importantly though, I'd love to hear what you have to say, and help you to say it just as you want.
