CSBSJU wins the 2012 Senator Paul Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization
The College of St. Benedict and Saint John's University are proud to have been named recipient of the 2012 Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization. This prestigious award, named for the late Senator Paul Simon, is presented to approximately three to five higher educational institutions in the country each year for their achievements and ongoing efforts toward campus internationalization. The awardees are selected by the NAFSA Association of International Educators, the world's largest non-profit professional association dedicated to international education.
CSB/SJU was recognized at the Simon Award Ceremony in Washington, DC, in November 2012. CSB President MaryAnn Baenninger accepted the award on behalf of our institutions and also participated in a panel composed of presidents of awardee institutions to discuss the future of internationalization and globalization in US higher education.
