Since the arrival of Benedictine monks and sisters in central Minnesota, Saint Benedict's Monastery, Saint John's Abbey, and the colleges they founded have been committed to global education. In order to prepare CSB and SJU students for a world that is radically different from the last half of the 20th century, we have established The Center for Global Education.
Our center brings the global arena closer to home with visiting scholars, conferences, performances and speakers on campus. Additionally, the center provides opportunities for students to have educational and practical experiences, both on campus and abroad, that will promote global understanding and cultural appreciation.
