Jingkun Li, E-Scholar 2009-2011

"Two years ago I emailed a Chinese friend attending St. John's and he introduced me to the E-Scholars Program and shared his experience with me. Six months later, when I was applying for a visa at the U.S. Embassy in Shanghai, I told the visa officer that the E-Scholar program of St. John's University was one of the main reasons that I intended to transfer to the school."

Jingkun is a student manager of English Corner, an online and Skype service to Chinese individuals wanting to improve their English. The venture was started by a former E-Scholar.
