- Attend lectures and presentations related to your areas of interest
- Consider volunteering to explore your interests, skills, and values in addition to building your resume
- Participate in clubs, organizations and related co-curricular activities both on and off campus - (need link to clubs/organizations)
- Complete your "Who am I?" worksheet and discuss it with your advisors and a Career Counselor
- Meet with a Career Counselor to explore your values, interests, and skills
Begin to Discover Possible Majors
- Discuss possible majors with your advisor
- Take classes to explore interests and possible majors. Be open to new areas of interest
- Talk with faculty members in possible areas of interest to learn more about majors

- Explore major and career options through programming offered by Career Services (e.g., Commute to Careers, Networking Events, Roundtables, and Fairs)
Begin to Develop Career Tools
- Participate in Fall Initiative, a program that familiarizes First Year students with the Career Resource Centers and materials related to major(s) and careers

- Schedule an appointment with a Career Counselor to discuss your career development, whether it be discovering yourself, discovering possible majors, or discovering possible careers
