Participate in Events

General Career Events:

  • Participate on a career panel (Career Exploration Series), such as "What Can I Do with a Major in...?", "Careers in...", "Volunteering After Graduation", or "The Grad School Process."
  • Provide information/photo for an "Alum Profile" describing your background and work. We'll provide a few questions to respond to with short answers. This is the perfect opportunity for an alum who wants to help with career programming but may be limited due to distance and/or time commitments.
  • Participate in annual Career Services event: Career EXPO.

Internships / Employment:

  • Come to campus and conduct "Practice Interviews" with students.
  • Participate in an "Interviewing/Networking Tips" session to help students learn effective techniques.
  • Recruit for internships/jobs at your company/organization.
  • Post jobs on E-link and/or conduct on-campus interviews .
  • Hold "Information Sessions" to inform students about career opportunities at your company.
  • Connect your organization to a Fair that CSB/SJU students utilize for internships and employment.
  • Participate in the annual "reception" for students attending the MN Private College Job/Internship Fair.

Graduate School:

  • Share information about summer undergraduate research opportunities available at your company/organization.
  • Participate in a "The Graduate School Process" panel and share information about the application process and the graduate school experience.

Full-Time Volunteer:

  • Participate in panels to share your experiences as a volunteer.
  • Attend the annual Volunteer Fair in November and recruit for your organization.
  • Post full-time volunteer positions on E-link.
