Volunteer Opportunities

Part of leadership is service. 

Volunteer at the Institute for Women’s Leadership by attending volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Students may attend as many or as few opportunities as they wish. Contact our Coordinator of Volunteer Programs, at iwl@csbsju.edu to be added to the volunteer distribution list and receive emails when opportunities are available.  Starting in Spring 2012, we will be having a wider range of volunteer and social justice opportunities. 

Past volunteer opportunities include:

• Creating care packages for female soldiers
• Mentoring St. John's Prep female students
• Body image workshops
• Preparing and serving meals for residents at a women’s shelter

You may also volunteer at the Institute for Women’s Leadership by planning and executing programs with our Program Coordinators. If you have an idea for a program or would like to assist with a program, contact our Program Coordinators, at iwl@csbsju.edu.
