VOICE

Purpose

In order to recognize the silenced voices of women and to empower women to learn about their own voices, we have worked to create a week specifically dedicated to women's ways of self expression. VOICE will engage students, staff, and faculty with art, poetry, video, song, and a guest speaker. It will allow women to interact with their voices in a new and unique way.

VOICE Exhibit

An art and Post Secret exhibit will be held in the Gorecki Dining and Conference Center during the week of March 26th - April 4th, 2012. The art exhibit will include a display of secrets submitted by CSB students. These secrets will reflect the silenced voices of our women. Another component will include art created by students on the following themes: silence; women's ways of expression; and woman's voice. The art and Post Secret exhibit is intended to show the movement from silence to empowerment.
