Evening Yoga with Jessie
As students your bodies and minds are constantly busy with very little time for stillness and reflection. College requires a great deal of focus not to mention an ability to balance everything. Many students ask me why yoga is important to their health and well-being and I always tell them that it helps improve concentration, teaches you how to relax and ultimately strengthens your body and mind. As you leave college and move on to new and exciting things in your life, you will still have to balance and manage your time. You will be asked to do more, be more and overall, life will only be busier. Yoga will help you build awareness and respect for yourself. A consistent yoga practice will create a sense of openness and receptivity, leading you to more peace and serenity despite the many demands on your time.
Join me in embracing the sunset with a series of yoga poses design to awaken and energize your body, mind and spirit – improving your focus and concentration for the tasks you have ahead of you. This class will focus on developing strength, flexibility and balance within our bodies while also encouraging a deeper awareness of our mind and spirit.
