All swimmers MUST shower before entering the pool.
Proper swimwear must be worn when using the pool.
Follow all rules as posted around pool and as directed by the lifeguard on duty.
No diving in the shallow end
No diving/jumping off the diving platforms
Use the ladders to get out of the pool
No food/drinks allowed on the pool deck except for a water bottle (if needed). All water bottles must be plastic - no glass.
Respect all equipment available for use. Any inappropriate or destructive use (such as hitting, throwing, noodle slapping, standing on kickboards, etc.) will result in all equipment being taken away. No equipment allowed in the deep end except aqua jogging belts- no exceptions. NO OUTSIDE EQUIPMENT IS ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT IN TO OUR POOL.
Children may wear lifejackets but they must be US COASTGUARD CERTIFIED JACKETS. Please show the lifeguard the jacket prior to swimming. No child that needs a life jacket should be in the deep end or in the water without an adult swimming with them. Children may use the noodles, balls, and kickboards. Children may not use flippers or blue aqua joggers. What is considered appropriate use of this equipment is left at the discretion of the lifeguard on duty.
Anyone in the deep end swimming, aqua jogging or jumping off the diving board must be able to swim half the length of the pool without stopping and without struggling. The lifeguard will conduct a swim test with any children using the pool prior to allowing any child to be in the deep end.
Diving board use:
Only one bounce before jumping into the water.
Only one person on the diving board at a time
Next person in line must wait to climb up the ladder until the person has jumped off the board
Swimmer cannot jump off board until person in front of them is to either ladder
There can never be a person waiting in the water to catch someone jumping off the diving board. If this kind of assistance is needed, that person should not be in the deep end of the pool.
All children under the age of 17 must be accompanied to the pool by a parent or guardian. No child or children may swim alone.
Children's swim lessons cannot be conducted during our regular open swim times.
